The results were very satisfying to me; I think what I like best about them is that they’re highly evocative — the folds and crumpling are random, but a lot of intent can be read into them. And, crucially, I liked that I had no idea how they were going to turn out; the whole process, short as it was, was a kind of discovery in which I had very little control (via Subtraction: Crumpled Up)
