On 20 September 2006, Australia’s first community art lending library will be launched in Melbourne with a joint exhibition at the Footscray Community Arts Centre and Marios Café. The Footscray Arts art lending library’s inaugural collection, The Marios Collection, will comprise approximately 50 works of art from artists whose work has previously been exhibited at Marios Café. The Footscray Arts exhibition will run until 24 October while the Marios exhibition will run until 9 October.
