I met Clare and Crystal in Swanston street in my favourite coffee joint, Starbucks. I had sat there for a half hour or so and shared my table with two impossibly cute Asian Australian girls who were sporting hotpants, long flicking hair , jangling jewellry,and much makeup. I approve of all of that. They chatted with much animation and texted all at once and I drank my coffee. I probably seemed like a nice old man. Maybe I was. I iike the coffee there, its not so strong. I like the ambience and the general neutrality. LIke a nice mall I guess. At the counter they were selling a cd, a briliant compilation of Trojan reggae. Classy.
